Logo designs in the style of Michael Brennand-Wood
Logo is a computer programming language invented by Professor Seymour Papert.
The children 'teach' the computer new 'words' (called procedures) to make patterns from geometric shapes
like triangles, squares and rhombi, in different sizes and colours.
Then more procedures are created to repeat and rotate the shapes, making floral wheel patterns
similar to the flowers Mr Brennand-Wood used so effectively.
Finally a screen 'turtle' is used to move around and execute various procedures in different places
to produce these lovely symmetrical designs.
