The sun shone for this year's May Queen, Halla, with three of her attendants: Maisy, Phoebe and
Gracie

After the crowning, Halla read her speech:
Then year 6 opened the maypole dancing.
They were followed by year 5
The Robins were next with their perfect dance.
The Jackdaws returned to dance double plaiting
Flowers were kindly donated by 
The Woodpeckers danced the Barber's Pole
and then it was the Wrens turn - they were Pirates!!
Some of the older children joined in with the Woodpeckers as
they danced the Virginia Reel After thank yous from Mrs Gibbs it was time for the stalls There was plenty to enjoy in the sunshine Whether you were a pirate or the May Queen, it was a lovely
