Our Demonstration Christening

Our 2 volunteers were: Matte and Cora. Mrs Findlay explained the service because Jan, our vicar, had to be at a funeral, unexpectedly.
We went back to class for a Celebration Tea and Ruth Shaw had made and decorated a beautiful cake. 

The children were all in role as the two different families, godparents, grandparents etc.

Our Demonstration Wedding

Katie pretended to get married to Jaspar . Dillon was the best man, who managed not to lose the (curtain) rings! Jan explained what would happen and what would be said at a real Wedding.

We had photos outside the church and then returned to school for the speeches by the best man, bridegroom and bride's godfather.
Then we had some fizzy apple squash to drink the health of the bride and groom and the bridesmaids and page: Francesca, Amber and Max.

The wedding cake was a work of art - made and decorated by Ruth Shaw.
