On Saturday the 1^st of July 2000 Loders, Parrett & Axe, St.Mary's, Thorncombe, Burton Bradstock and Broadwinsor all went over to Beaminster school and played short tennis.

It was very fun but it was tiring, St. Marys A won & Burton Bradstock came 2^nd. There were two Tennis Courts, the A teams go on court 1 and the B teams on court 2.

It was good fun even though Loders didn't bring home the sheild, but well done to St.Mary's.

It wasn't very good weather but it didn't rain, it was very cold. At the end we all got a certificate, so we didn't go home empty handed.
