On the 24th of March 2004 some of Loders School went over to Bridport United Church to play in a concert with seven other schools from round Bridport. The Instruments included violins, cellos, flutes, saxophone, clarinets, trumpets, recorders, keyboards, guitars, Colfox brass band and the choir. |
The strings played: G-String shuffle, the African tune and the Olga square dance. The wind band played: Samba Grove, Nightflight, Tropicana The Recorders played: Swing low sweet chariot, Rondo, Tip toe through the tulips. The Keyboards played: Bye Bye love, 5 finger boogie and Good bye Mrs. Lenit. The guitars played: BATMAN!!!! The Colfox brass band played: The grand old Duke of York. The choir sang : The circle of life, Day By Day and Ocy Tocy Onga. |
AND WE COULD NOT FORGET THE MOUNTJOY BELL RINGERS!!!!! They played: The theme of the Titanic and A crash of Drums.
It was a very successful evening and hopefully it will be as fab as it was this year next year!
