On Sunday the 14th of  March  we went to the Dorset badminton championship. Harriet entered the under 12 singles category and both of us entered the  doubles as a team. Harriet came 2nd in the singles and we came third in the doubles.

There were two sections of girls, the B group and the A group. Harriet beat every one in her group and then she played the winner of the other section and unfortunately  lost. Each game was played to 15 apart from the final which were played to an exhausting 21.

After the shattering singles were over the girls doubles were played. We lost our first game, sadly we only scored two but we came to life in our second game which we won with the score of  15- 3 to us. We lost the next game but we weren't too upset since the girls were very good, they were Dorset squad players. The games were very tough although  we did well.
