Wednesday

We went to Worth Matravers to start our walk

the pond in the centre of the village

The last walk was the coastal walk. We put on our wellies, got on the bus and drove to a National Trust car park where we walked down the road to the square. There was a pond with three or four ducks, there was a curved stone bench with a dead pigeon beside it. We walked back up the road, past some horses and into a field, we went through about three more fields until we got to the coast. We sat for one minute to think about what it made us feel. Pearl said, "It makes me want to go swimming".

When we got to Dancing Ledge we found out that we weren't allowed to the beach because we had run out of time, so we walked up the steep hill and Pearl and Georgia were the last to get to the top and they got a round of applause.

On the last field Pearl, Georgia, Ziggy, Gemma and Helen walked through with Robert and Mrs Palmer behind us. Suddenly Pearl heard "*@*@*@!!" as Mrs Palmer fell in the mud.

All in all it was a very adventurous walk.

PLAYING GAMES

On the last day at Leeson we had about an hour before the bus was going to arrive so Dinah and Mr Kite set up three tasks - two on the front lawn and one in the classroom. The task in the classroom was to tie a reef knot and the two on the lawn were centipede and crossing a swamp. We split in to three groups, my group went to the swamp first (but of course the swamp was not real.) Second of all we went on the centipede. Our group did well on this so did the others but we found this task the hardest because we had to communicate as much as possible. And last of all we had to make a reef knot. This was quite hard but we did the first half and then we had to go to load the luggage on to the bus and then off we went.
