On the 4th of April 2001 the Loders Handball team went to The Bridport Leisure Centre for the first ever Handball tournament in Dorset.

When we arrived we found out we were up against Powerstock, Burton Bradstock, Thorners, Lytton Cheney, Symondsbury which all had an 'A Team' and a 'B Team' with 8 people in each. We're afraid that there were too many matches to give them all a mention so we're only going to tell you about the Loders ones.

The first match we played was Loders A against Thorners B. We won one - Nil to …US!!!

Our next match was Loders B V Thorners A…

And we lost one-Nil. Boo-hoo!!!!

The next match we did was Loders 'A Team' against Powerstock 'B Team' and we won 2-1 to us. After that there were loads of other games and the semi-final it was Burton B V Loders A

And …

Drum roll please…

Loders won the match! so we went in to the final.

Duhn duhn duuhhnn!!!!!!

There was also Powerstock A v Thorners A and Powerstock won.

Eventually it was time the FINAL!!!!

It was Loders A up against Powerstock A

Another Drum roll please…

We lost.

But there was still hope! It was kind of like a girl of the match and boy of the match. But still we didn't get it.

BUT we were quite happy to have come second.
