Trek to Golden Cap

On 09.02.00 we drove by bus to Langdon Woods and hiked down to St. Gabriels Chapel and then the wind started gusting and the sun vanished. Then we had the hard climb up the steep and misty path to Golden Cap.We went to the edge of the cliff and Mr Foot showed us layers of the rock. The sandy soil shone in the sun shine. That is why it is called Golden Cap.

We walked and slid on our botties and got very muddy, down to Seatown and had lunch. We ran along the beach and saw where a boulder slithered down from the muddy cliff. We took lots of rocks and stones onto the bus and when we got back to school we were all tired.
