On Thursday 13th of April years 5&6 went on a night walk.
We walked through the Leeson House garden, over a stile, through two fields and onto Priest’s Way. We then stopped there for a little talk about how the Priest used to come from Langton Matravers to Swanage for his church services.
We then carried on down Priest’s Way, up a path, past a barn, then down the path, through a field and then stopped by another stile. We had stopped because that was the point when we had to walk across the field all by ourselves. Some people got a bit scared but then they were alright.
Mrs Carter started us off, Dinah (one of the helpers from Leeson) was in the middle of the field and Mr Kite was at the end waiting for us.
When we all got back we were all very tired so we went straight to bed at 11.30.

We had 2 night Orienteering sessions around the grounds of Leeson House, with Mr Kite. It was really exciting. The first one was meant to be harder but it was easier than the second one. The first orienteering night had 15 tags but 2 were on special poles. The second orienteering night had 20 tags on special poles, if you were on your own you had to get 18 tags, if you were with a partner you had to get 19 tags & if you were a threesome you had to get all 20 tags.
