We came out of the changingrooms at Bridport leisure centre on wed 17th June. We sat on the pool side ready to commence battle in the swimming pool, swimming. The first event was the 25m races. Y6 have a go Dawn a good swimmer won her first race and so did Joseph another good swimmer. Then the Y5s have a go Waldo came second Anna came last. Relays now Y5s went first they had a good start and a bad finish, they came last Y6s turn they came second - not bad, eh? Now the obstacle team race Y5s first. You have to sit on a mat cross-legged holding two balls in your hands they came third. The Y6s did it differently, they had to swim from the deep end with a float on their head, we came fourth.

Then we had the width races. Katherine came first in her race, then Michelle came third, Dean came fifth and Abigail came second.

Burton won by at least ten points ahead of us, but we came second. Then we had a play around in the pool and in that time we all had a big width race and Joseph Carter won.
