On Wednesday 6th of May 1998 all the local Primary schools and Colfox school went down to the Pyramid Music concert. Then Mr David Powell came out and said a few words before Bridport town schools Recorder group got up and played three pieces called 'Beguine', Scarborough fair ,and Beauty and the beast. After that Bridport Primary schools' violins (conductor Carol Lilly) played Bridport Ballad, Perfect Day and Bow Rock. Next the Othona Dance Band played Callaghans Canter, then Mountjoy School played Bless them all, Home on the Range and Now is the Hour with a short interval. Then the Bridport Primary Schools Wind Band queued and waited while Mountjoy School got off the stage. Then they played Scarborough Fair and American Patrol. Then the Bridport Primary Schools recorder group played Gavotte 1 and Gavotte 2. After that Colfox School came on, first of all the Colfox drummers did some African drumming which made everyone jump and have a ear ache. Still with Colfox the Colfox Recorders played Partita and See the conquering Hero come. After that Bridport Primary Schools Wind Band -(Conductor Tom Forward) Played Londonderry Air And Chihuahua Cha Cha.
