A few weeks ago Y5/6 all designed a poppy poster for the competition. For the posters we used paints, wax crayons, felt tip pens, pencil crayons and pastels. After we had all designed and completed our posters the teachers chose which ones should be entered. The ones that were entered were done by Stephanie Davis, Katherine Barrett, Joseph Muhl and Waldo Etherington. Then they got sent to County Primary to be entered in the competition. After they had been judged we found out that none of us was the overall winner but Katherine Barrett was the winner of Y5/6. Because Katherine was one of the winners she had to go to the presentation evening. When she went to it she got presented a big certificate. The overall winner and the Y3/4 winner were both from County Primary School. Stephanie, Waldo and Joseph also got some small certificates which they got in assembly.
