| On March the 21st 1998 Loders school participated in a netball tournament at Woodroffe school in Lyme Regis. Our first match was at 9:20am when we played Beaminster, we lost that match 2-0. The second game we won against Thorncombe 2-1. We lost all our other matches unfortunately, but our hardest game and biggest defeat was against Parrett and Axe we lost 9-2! The game that we thought we had a chance in was against Sticklands but at the last minute they scored the winning goal 2-1 to them. There were 2 groups A and B and we were in group A.. What happened was there are 2 semi finals one in group A one in group B and the winners of the 2 semi finals goes on to play each other. We stayed until 12:30 so we didn't see who went into the semi final but we think from our group it was Parrett and Axe and Beaminster that went through to the semi final. And overall we think it must of been Parrett and Axe who won the whole competition. Oh well we lost, but we went down fighting!!!!!!!!!? | |
