On the 14th of May 1999 some of year 5&6 went to Moors valley Country Park to go orienteering. At 2:45 we set off from school but we didn't get too far because MR KITE forgot something so we went to school and set off again!

It was about 4:30 when we got there it was very hot. We got our maps and waited for our time to be called out.

We all went at 3minute intervals, Michelle and Natalie went first and then Myfanwy and Stephanie and then me and Vicky.

The courses we had to do was a score course, it is when you set off with a map and it has all of the controls on it. You can get any one you want, oh yeah, you only have 45minutes and if you are late you have points taken off.

Vicky and I got back in 45 minutes and everyone had a wonderful day.
