On Saturday 23rd of May Loders Primary School held a Mayfair on Well plot. It was started by Mr Kite who introduced everybody and then the May queen had to enter. She walked around the centre ring until she came to her seat nextto the guest of honour (Mr Stripp) where she (Helen Webber) was crowned.Next came the Maypole dancing . First Y6/5 danced in and then handed the ribbons to Y3/4 ,who danced double plaiting, then Y2/3 danced the barbers pole. Then reception came in and did their circle dance . Then Y5/6 took over and did single plaiting and spider's web then pinged the ribbons and danced out. Meanwhile lots of other things were going on, there was a dog show in a nearby field and there was lots of games and stalls.
