On Sunday the 18th we went to Hurn forest to go orienteering. It was quite cold so we had to wrap up warm. I (Alastair) went with Timothy, and Michelle went with Nicola. Timothy and I went on the white course (which was quite easy) although we didn't want to and Michelle went on the yellow. Timothy and I started off O.K and by the time we had got to the 3rd control marker I was already munching on a bag of crisps. Meanwhile Michelle and Nicola couldn't find their second control. They ended up at their 5th one so they had to walk all the way back to the beginning and started again. At this time Timothy and I were doing O.K and I was on my chocolate bar. Timothy was complaining about 'me munching down his ear'! But we were on the 7th marker. Michelle and Nicola had (finally) got to the 7th marker but they couldn't find the end! Timothy had finally found the end so we ran back to the car. Nicola had found the end and they were currently in the process of reading mags and listening to loud music. Timothy and I then attempted to take Toffee (Timothy's dog) for a walk. The result was that we ended up being dragged into the undergrowth! When Michelle and Nicola had finished playing a game they had a Kit Kat and some crisps and some chocolate and a drink. And then Timothy and I appeared out of the undergrowth with a tired and wet dog! And then we went home.
