Our Trip To Hooke Court.

On Wednesday the 9th of December year 5/6 went on a trip to Hooke Court near Beaminster. When we got there we met up with Mrs Hodson and we got inspected, luckily we were more or less Ok. Then she told us where the certain groups were going. Some of us went to the Victorian kitchen where we made some apple cake, some gingerbread biscuits, chocolate Wareham biscuits and some Firmity. But others of us went outside and did some laundry and used a mangle, a dolly, and to get water we used a pump.

But there is still one group left and they polished brass next door to the kitchen which was hard work. When the morning was over we went into Hooke Court school where we had our not so Victorian lunch. And when we'd had that we did some Victorian crafts which included: Dorset buttons, Quilling and Decoupage. And that concludes our trip to Hooke Court.
