On Friday the 16th the Loders football team went down to Burton playing fields to have a match against Burton Bradstock. We had four teams: A,B,C and D. We were on the A team. Arrian was our captain and Alastair was the vice captain. We had a team of seven, Arrian, Alastair, Dale, Joseph, Craig, Paul and Johnathan. The captain of the B team was Katherine and the vice captain was Dale. The captain of the C team was Leah and the vice captain was Kate and the captain of the D team was Ian and the vice was Ronan. the first match was Our B team against Burtons A team. They played a hard game and the result was that unfortunately we lost. The next game was our C against their D. We drew that game. When the whistle blew it was our team on. We were playing the B team. They were really hard and Joseph saved some tough shots but we lost! The Burton teams seemed to be dominating all of their games. The afternoon went on and Burton seemed to be winning all their games. But we won a few of them. Finally the last match came. I scored a goal (yippeee!) and Arrian did as well. At the end of all our games the final score was Us:12 Burton:21! L We had lost but we still might win in the future………….
