Badminton at Ashdown School.

On Sunday the 14th of March, Tim and I drove to Ashdown School in Poole. We had a quick practice and then it was time to play. First it was the boy's singles, Tim wasn't playing so he became my cheerleader. The opposition was tough and I was totally thrashed but I wasn't surprised seeing that 3 of them play for England! But I managed to get 4 points on one of my games. While I was resting Tim was leaning on a big board and it fell on top of him! So we were even more handicapped.

After lunch (at 11:00) Nicola and Katherine turned up. They were going to play in the girl's doubles. While we were waiting there was a cricket practice in the other half of the hall. Nicola stuck her head round the curtain and a cricket ball hit her in the head!

Then we started the boy's doubles. We lost the first game because we didn't know we were playing, we thought we were practising. The second game we lost because we think the other team were scoring wrongly. But we managed to get a point on each of our matches and we were playing up to 21 points. We were tired so we went back to Alastair's house.
