Another trip to the nature reserve
(on Children in Need day - we don't usually allow green hair at school!)

Look at our previous visits

We took some hazel saplings that we had dug up from our school field to plant as part of a hedge around Peascombe.

Paul talked to us about the benefits of a hedge to wildlife and showed us hazel nuts that had been nibbled by mice.

We measured the shortest and the tallest tree so that we can check their growth.
