On the 14th of December the drama club walked down to the new Loders village hall to get ready for our Christmas Revue at 2.00pm.

When people started to arrive we started to shake out of our socks. The rest of the school arrived and the show was about to begin.

First thing on the list was a school mime and Helen was the timekeeper and Helen had to keep saying tea to Liam (Father Christmas.)

When that was over the years 3 and 4 did their thing. I did a sketch with Ziggy and after that the key stage one did a nativity play.

Then Georgia, Ziggy, Christy, Gemma and Helen did a song called Midnight, which went down very well. When that was done Hazel and Laura did I saw three ships on the keyboard and flute. Then the drama club did a modern version of the nativity play, Pearl played the part of the dad, Gemma played the mum, Laurance played the little brother, Sarina played the part of the big sister, Kamran played the part of the innkeeper, Lizzie, Ronan and William played the parts of the three farmers and Georgia, Fiona and Christy were the 'three wise gals'.

When that was finished the drama club finished with a song.

There was a 'Too commercial' sketch by Helen, Ziggy and Ronan. It was about an orange. When that had gone down well the school choir sang Light a candle in your window and the Virgin Mary had a baby boy. Then we sang a jazzy song called Unto us a child is born.

Then there was another 'too commercial' by the same people but with Laurance instead of Ronan. Then to end up with the whole school sang the favourite songs from the past performances:

Christmas Eve from Charlie the toy maker

Everybody's talking from Moving on

Hosanna rock from Hosanna rock.

All the donations went to Oxfam.
